Understanding Send Limits
Each subscription tier includes a monthly send limit - the number of invitation emails you can send during your billing cycle. This guide explains how send limits work and how to manage them.
Send Limits by Plan
Plan | Monthly Sends | Best For |
|---|---|---|
Starter | 850 | Smaller planners or boutique niches |
Pro | 1,500 | Average annual invites most planners send |
Premium | 3,000 | Larger or overlapping events |
Elite | Unlimited | Venues, agencies, or full-time corporate planners |
How Sends Are Counted
A “send” is counted each time an invitation email is delivered to an attendee. Here’s what counts:
What Counts as a Send
Each attendee who receives a scheduled message
Each attendee in a “Send Now” action
Reminder messages sent to attendees
Thank-you messages sent to attendees
What Doesn’t Count
Test emails - Sending tests to yourself
Failed deliveries - Emails that couldn’t be delivered
Skipped sends - Example domains that are automatically skipped
Purchased template sends - If you purchased a template outright (not via subscription), sends using that template don’t count against your quota
Checking Your Usage
To see how many sends you have remaining:
Go to your Profile page
Click on the Subscription tab
Your current plan and remaining sends are displayed
You’ll see:
Current Plan - Your subscription tier
Sends Remaining - How many sends left this billing cycle
When Limits Reset
Your send limit resets at the start of each billing cycle:
Billing cycles are monthly, starting from your subscription date
Unused sends don’t roll over to the next month
On your reset date, you get your full allocation again
Example: If you subscribed on March 15th, your sends reset on the 15th of each month.
What Happens When You Hit Your Limit
If you reach your send limit:
You won’t be able to schedule new message sends
Already scheduled sends within your limit will still go out
Test emails can still be sent
Template purchases remain unaffected
Options When at Your Limit
Wait for reset - Your limit resets at the start of your next billing cycle
Upgrade your plan - Move to a higher tier for more sends
Purchase the template - One-time purchases have no send limits
Purchased Templates vs Subscription
There’s an important distinction in how sends are tracked:
Subscription Sends
Count against your monthly limit
Reset each billing cycle
Apply to all templates accessed via subscription
Purchased Template Sends
Unlimited - No send limits
Never expire
Perfect for recurring events using the same template
If you frequently use a specific template, purchasing it may be more cost-effective than using subscription sends.
Upgrading Your Plan
If you regularly hit your send limit, consider upgrading:
Go to your Profile > Subscription
View available plans
Select a higher tier
Complete the checkout process
Your new limit takes effect immediately, and you get the additional sends for the current billing cycle.
Tips for Managing Sends
Consolidate where possible - Send to all attendees at once rather than in small batches
Use test emails first - Test emails don’t count against your limit
Track your events - Plan ahead if you have multiple events in one month
Consider purchasing - For templates you’ll use repeatedly
