Responding to an Invitation

You’ve received an invitation to an event! This guide walks you through how to view the invitation and submit your RSVP.

Viewing Your Invitation

Step 1: Open the Email

Look for an email from the event host. The email will include:

  • A brief message about the event

  • A View Invitation button

Step 2: Click View Invitation

Click the button to open your personalised invitation. You’ll see:

  • A beautifully designed invitation card

  • Event details (date, time, location, etc.)

  • RSVP options

Note: The invitation link is unique to you. Don’t share it with others as it’s tied to your RSVP.

Submitting Your RSVP

Once you’ve viewed the invitation, you can respond:

Attending

If you plan to attend:

  1. Click Attending or the equivalent button

  2. A form will appear to confirm your details

  3. Fill in any required information:

    • Verify your email address

    • Add your phone number (optional)

    • Add any notes for the host (dietary requirements, etc.)

    • Add any guests you’re bringing (if allowed)

  4. Click Confirm or Submit

You’ll see a confirmation message: “Great! We’re excited to see you!”

Not Attending

If you can’t make it:

  1. Click Not Attending or the equivalent button

  2. Your response is recorded immediately

You’ll see a message: “Thanks for letting us know. You’ll be missed!”

Maybe

If you’re unsure:

  1. Click Maybe or the equivalent button

  2. Your response is recorded

You can update your response later when you know for certain.

What Information You Might Need to Provide

Depending on how the host set up the event, you may be asked for:

  • Contact Details - Email and phone number

  • Dietary Requirements - Allergies or food preferences

  • Guest Names - If you’re bringing plus-ones

  • Custom Questions - Any specific questions the host has set up

After You Respond

Once you’ve submitted your RSVP:

  • The host receives your response

  • You can return to the invitation anytime using your original link

  • You can change your response if your plans change

Can’t Find Your Invitation?

If you’ve lost your invitation email:

  • Check your spam/junk folder

  • Search your inbox for the event name or host’s name

  • Contact the event host directly - they can share a link with you

Viewing on Mobile

Invitations are designed to look great on any device:

  • Open the email on your phone

  • Tap View Invitation

  • The invitation will display beautifully on your screen

  • RSVP buttons are easy to tap
