Editing Your Profile
Your profile contains your personal information used throughout Dear. Keep it up to date so your account details are accurate.
Accessing Your Profile
Click your avatar in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar
Select Profile from the menu
You’ll see your profile settings page
Personal Information
Your profile includes the following fields:
First Name
Your first name appears in:
The navigation sidebar
Your account avatar initials
Last Name
Your last name is combined with your first name for:
Your display name throughout the app
Any communications from Dear
Email Address
Your email is used for:
Logging in to your account
Password reset requests
Important account notifications
Note: Changing your email will update how you sign in.
Timezone
Your timezone affects:
When scheduled messages are sent
How times are displayed throughout the app

How to Update Your Profile
Navigate to your Profile page
Update any of the fields:
First name
Last name
Email
Timezone
Click Save at the bottom of the form
A confirmation message will appear once your changes are saved.
Profile Avatar
Your avatar is automatically generated using your initials. When you update your name, your avatar will update to reflect the new initials.
Other Profile Settings
Your profile page also provides access to:
Security - Change your password and set up two-factor authentication
Subscription - View and manage your subscription plan
Getting Started - Restart the onboarding wizard if needed
Delete Account - Permanently remove your account
