Forgot Password

Can’t remember your password? No problem. This guide walks you through resetting your password and getting back into your account.

Resetting Your Password

Step 1: Go to the Login Page

Navigate to the Dear login page at your usual login URL.

Step 2: Click “Forgot Password”

Below the login form, click the Forgot Password or Reset Password link.

Step 3: Enter Your Email

  1. Enter the email address associated with your account

  2. Click Send Reset Link or Submit

Step 4: Check Your Email

  1. Check your inbox for a password reset email

  2. The email will arrive within a few minutes

  3. Click the Reset Password link in the email

Step 5: Create a New Password

  1. Enter your new password

  2. Confirm the password by entering it again

  3. Click Reset Password or Save

Step 6: Log In

Once your password is reset, you’ll be redirected to the login page. Log in with your email and new password.

Didn’t Receive the Reset Email?

If you don’t see the password reset email:

Check Your Spam Folder

The email may have been filtered. Look in:

  • Spam

  • Junk

  • Promotions (Gmail)

  • Other/Focused (Outlook)

Verify Your Email Address

Make sure you’re entering the exact email address you used to create your account. Check for:

Wait a Few Minutes

Email delivery can sometimes take a few minutes. Wait 5-10 minutes before requesting another reset.

Request Another Reset

If you still haven’t received it after checking spam and waiting:

  1. Return to the forgot password page

  2. Request a new reset link

  3. The previous link will be invalidated

If you’ve tried everything and still can’t reset your password, contact support for assistance.

Password Requirements

When creating your new password:

  • Use at least 8 characters

  • Include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols

  • Avoid common passwords

  • Don’t reuse passwords from other sites

Google Sign-In Users

If you signed up using Google Sign-In:

  • You may not have a Dear password set

  • Try logging in with the Sign in with Google button instead

  • If you want to set a Dear password, you can do so after logging in via Google

After resetting your password:

  1. Update password managers - Save the new password in your password manager

  2. Check account activity - Review your account for any unauthorized changes

  3. Enable 2FA - Consider setting up two-factor authentication for extra security

  4. Don’t share your password - Keep your new password private
